Make it a weekend of Balkan culture in DC
The grandiose Turkish Festival of DC will take place on October 4, 2009. A day-long, free, fun-filled, must-see, family festival celebrating authentic Turkish art and culture 10AM-6PM at Freedom Plaza located on Pennsylvania Ave., NW between 13th and 14th Streets NW.
We are still seeking volunteers to help at various times throughout the entire day. Volunteers who work a two-hour shift get into the entire event for free. Email volunteers@balktoberfest.com if you are interested in helping out the day of the festival.

Afternoon Admission:
No charge for afternoon activities (4-6pm)
Evening Admission (6pm to end):
NOTE: CASH ONLY for all admission, food and drink purchases
$25 for adults
$20 for students with a valid ID and Seniors
No charge for kids under 18
